SVN and GIT

Let me preface this by saying I am completely biased and firmly in place in "gits" corner. It is by far the best code collab tool out there in my opinion.

That said, I might be stuck using SVN for my own small projects. The one and only reason is because in SVN you can check out a subdirectory rather than the entire project. As my repository is approaching 400megs, that is a lot to download for a quick "how to" type tutorial that I don't want to lose. So as much as I was all ready to switch (my git repo from svn actually already exists), I will be rolling back to SVN until I have fiber interwebs at my house.
